Resetting a User’s Password – User Guide

System Generated Password

If you are an admin user in your system, then you can reset passwords for your colleague if they forget them. Remember though that system generated passwords are only valid for about 30 days – so your colleagues will need to log in and change their passwords to something memorable after you’ve reset it for them.

Resetting a Password

Log into FibreCRM, hover over your name in the top right and click on “Admin” Then to go “User Management”

Find the user who’s forgotten their password (if you have a lot of users, then you may need to search for them using the filter). Click on their name to open their user profile:

Then click on the “Actions” menu and “Reset Password”

The CRM will then pop up to confirm that a system-generated password has been sent to the user. Your colleague will receive an email with their login information.

REMEMBER: If you have the outlook addon, your colleague will need to put their new password in so that it can sync with your CRM.
